Learning German with Insight – My New Course Concept from November 2026

For many years, I have supported adult learners of German through online one-to-one lessons. Drawing on this experience, I have developed a new course concept that combines personal guidance, learning in small groups and a secure digital learning environment.

The first small-group courses are planned to start in November 2026. They are designed for adults who want to learn German regularly and over the longer term, with a clear learning structure, personal support and opportunities to interact with other learners.

Learning continues between the weekly live lessons, too: materials, assignments and revision activities are available in the digital learning environment.

Who are the courses for?

My small-group courses are designed for adults in Germany and abroad who are learning German as a foreign or second language and want to develop their language skills step by step.

These courses are particularly suitable if you would like to learn regularly in a small, consistent group, become more confident in everyday communication and benefit from personal guidance. Between the weekly online lessons, you can continue learning independently with digital materials and exercises.

Courses at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels are planned initially. If you prefer a more flexible approach without a fixed course cycle, you can explore additional learning opportunities in my owlviews Academy.

How are the courses structured?

Each small-group course consists of ten teaching weeks, with one scheduled online lesson per week. In groups of no more than four learners, we follow a structured learning programme while leaving plenty of room for individual questions and personal support.

Live lessons are complemented by a secure digital learning environment, where you can access course materials, assignments, revision activities and opportunities to exchange ideas with other participants.

This approach combines regular group lessons with independent learning between sessions.

Why small groups?

My small-group courses have a maximum of four participants. This gives everyone plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions and actively participate in the lessons.

Learners can practise together, learn from one another and support each other. At the same time, the small group size allows me to respond to individual questions, different learning needs and personal goals.

This way, we combine the benefits of learning together with personal guidance and individual support.

Are the courses online or in person?

My small-group courses take place entirely online. We meet in a virtual classroom at a fixed time each week. Digital materials and a secure learning environment support your learning between lessons.

You can participate regardless of where you live. Although my address is listed in Leverkusen, I do not currently offer in-person lessons.

When can I join?

The first online small-group courses are planned to start in November 2026. A course will begin once a suitable group of learners has been formed and a regular weekly time has been agreed.

Each course cycle consists of ten teaching weeks, with one scheduled online lesson per week.

Introductory price: €150 per person for the complete course cycle with ten lessons of 50 minutes each.

Regular price: €200 per person for the complete course cyclewith ten lessons of 50 minutes each.

Once a suitable group, a regular lesson time and a starting date have been confirmed, I will provide you with further booking information.

If you would like to start learning German while waiting for a suitable small-group course, you can explore my owlviews Academy. There, you have access to digital learning materials and, in group mode, can join learning circles and supervised study sessions. You can also book additional one-to-one or tandem lessons if needed.
